A month-long investigation in Gatineau has broken up an Aylmer-based drug operation that police say was led by a 16-year-old.
Police raided a residence on Rue Naples in the Plateau neighbourhood Tuesday night and arrested two suspects, the teen and a 40-year-old man.
Investigators say the young man was known to them.
The raid resulted in the seizure of a variety of illicit drugs including Xanax, magic mushrooms, hash, MDMA, meth, oxycodone and a small amount of cocaine.
Police also found an electric (Taser-type) weapon and a small amount of cash.
Investigators say some of the drugs were purchased over the internet and illegally imported into Canada.
The suspects were booked and released pending a court appearance at a later date.
