A 35-year-old Gatineau man was assaulted and pepper-sprayed during a home invasion Monday afternoon.
Gatineau Police say three men forced their way into an apartment at 277 rue Saint-André at about 4:15. Once inside, they assaulted the occupant and doused him with pepper spray before fleeing.
The man, who was taken to hospital to be treated for bruising, told police the men did not take anything.
He did not give a detailed description of this three assailants. They were described as French-speaking. All were wearing black clothes and had their faces covered.
