Ottawa police are seeking public assistance to locate a suspect in a commercial break-and-enter Saturday in the east end.
Police said the break-in occurred shortly before 6 a.m. at a clothing store in the 1500 block of Innes Road, near Blair Road.
The suspect arrived in a small bus-type van, later determined to be stolen, and forced his way through the front door. Once inside, he stole an undisclosed number of men’s jackets.
The stolen vehicle was later recovered nearby in the City Park area off Ogilvie Road.
The suspect is described as Caucasian. At the time of the break-in, he was wearing a dark winter jacket, black track pants with white stripe down legs, white sneakers, a grey hooded sweater, a neck warmer used to conceal his face, and white gloves.
