A pedestrian was conscious and able to talk to paramedics after she was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Maitland Avenue and Erindale Drive Thursday morning.
The woman in her 20s suffered a shoulder injury and possible leg injuries and reported having trouble breathing after the 11:42 a.m. incident.
She was expected to be transported to the hospital.
Police said that they were investigating and that Maitland Avenue had reopened to traffic.
