After Friday’s freezing rain and Sunday’s forecast of a messy mix of precipitation, Saturday is shaping up to be the best weather day of the weekend.
The forecast calls for sun and clouds Saturday before snow or freezing rain moves in some time before Sunday morning.
Saturday’s high is expected to be 4 C, dipping down to -2 C at night.
Increasing cloudiness near midnight then periods of snow or freezing rain will begin before morning. Wind will be out of the east at 20 km/h gusting to 40 before morning.
As the temperature climbs on Sunday morning, the precipitation will change over to rain, then clearing in the afternoon. The high on Sunday is expected to be 5 C. Wind will be 20 km/h gusting to 40, then gusting to 50 late in the afternoon.
