Winter’s warming up for a return.

Temperatures are staying relatively mild but there’s a risk of flurries – and a night of full-on snow – on the way.

Tuesday’s outlook is for more grey skies, a 30 per cent chance of morning flurries and a high of 2 C.

Overnight, expect periods of snow totalling 2 cm and a low of -2 C.

Another 2 cm snow is expected to fall before the flakes taper off Wednesday morning then it’s cloudy skies, a 60 per cent chance of showers or flurries and a high of 3 C.

Easterly winds at 20 km/h gust to 40 Wednesday morning. Overnight, there’s a 60 per cent chance of flurries and a low of -2 C.

The snow should slowly end late Wednesday morning then it’s mainly cloudy with a 60 per cent chance of showers or flurries.

For Thursday, expect clouds, a 60 per cent chance of flurries both day and night, a high of 1 C and a low of -4 C.

Friday’s forecast is for clouds, a 40 per cent chance of flurries, a high of 1 C and a low of -6 C.

Then it’s a stint of sun with mixed skies and highs of 4 C Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
