Emergency services were warning of traffic slowdowns after Ottawa fire crews were called to a small fire at the Ramada hotel on Prince of Wales Drive.
A fire services spokesperson confirmed crews were called to the Ramada Ottawa On the Rideau at 2259 Prince of Wales Dr., just north of Fallowfield Road, at 1:48 p.m.
Crews found a fire inside the main floor office and hotel guests and staff evacuated the building.
No injuries were reported and the fire was extinguished by 2:03 p.m.
The incident was under investigation.
