A woman in her 20s died after her vehicle crashed on Highway 148 near Quyon early Tuesday.
Her passenger was taken to the Shawville hospital suffering from shock after the single-vehicle crash, which happened at about 12:30 p.m. The woman’s east-bound vehicle went off the road, landing in the ditch.
Police and the Quebec Ministry of Transportation were still trying to determine what happened, Sgt. Martin Fournel said.
A detour is in place for commuters as investigators from MRC des Collines police examine the scene.
