“Snowberry FF Injury Update: 1 firefighter discharged yesterday. 2nd firefighter: Clarification: condition was serious but stable, w/ non-life-threatening injuries. He also thanked the community for the outpouring of support for the injured firefighters and praised other first responders for “collaborating to quickly rescue & care for injured personnel.”

The two firefighters were injured when a floor collapsed as they tried to rescue a man inside the burning house at 24 Snowberry Way. The man was treated for smoke inhalation. There were no other injuries in the two-alarm fire, which caused an estimated $750,000 damage.

Investigators believe the fire started in the home’s electrical panel.
