Two hurt after 10-metre fall behind Kruger plant in Gatineau

Gatineau police are investigating after two were injured after a 10-metre fall behind the Kruger plant near the Portage Bridge late Monday.

First reports indicated a 20-year-old Ottawa man suffered serious, but not life-threatening, back injuries when he fell onto rocks alongside the Ottawa River.

Indications are the second victim was hurt when he jumped to lend assistance.
