Ottawa police have released two photos and are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in an Orléans pharmacy robbery.
Police say a man wearing a mask approached the counter of a pharmacy on the 2900 block of St. Joseph Boulevard, near Place d’Orléans Drive, on April 9 at about 9:30 p.m.
The man walked behind the counter and allegedly demanded fentanyl and other narcotics from the pharmacist. He took narcotics and other medication and left the building, police said.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, six feet tall and heavy set, weighing about 220 pounds. He was wearing a skeleton mask, black hoodie and pants and white shoes.
Anyone with information regarding this investigation is asked to call Ottawa Police Service robbery unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 5116. Anonymous tips can be submitted by calling Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-222-8477.
