Ontario Provincial Police have arrested a 29-year-old North Dundas man following a raid last week that netted a number of firearms and illicit drugs.
A number of different OPP units were involved in the raid on a property on County Road 7, including the community street crime unit, the emergency response team, the tactical rescue unit and Stormont Dundas and Glengarry OPP officers.
Police seized marijuana, marijuana plants, methamphetamine, speed pills, cocaine and cash.
Also seized were several stolen firearms, including a sawed-off shotgun, ammunition and a Yamaha ATV.
Brandon Elliot is charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, several counts of unauthorized possession of a weapon and unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm, among other charges.
He is held in custody pending a court appearance in Cornwall.
