Ontario Provincial Police are asking for the public’s assistance to locate a missing 68-year-old man from the town of Delta, in Rideau Lakes Township.
Daniel Slack was last seen on Wednesday at around 4:50 p.m. when he headed out for an ATV ride on his property, which spans several acres.
Slack’s ATV has since been located, but Slack was not found.
According to police, canine units, the emergency response team (ERT), a helicopter, ATV support and drones have all been deployed in the search.
Police describe the man as standing five feet foot nine inches (170 cm) in height. He is around 180 pounds (82 kg) with a slim build.
He is clean-shaven face with balding grey hair.
Police believe he was wearing a camouflage jacket, blue jeans, and a tan ball cap with ‘Dan in real life’ written on it.
Anyone with information about Slack’s whereabouts is asked to call police at 613-345-1790.
