Ottawa police are seeking public assistance in locating a hoodie-disguised thief who held up a convenience store in the 2000 block of Meadowbrook Road early Thursday.
The robbery occurred at 2:37 a.m. when the suspect entered the store, declared that he was armed and demanded money.
Police did not say how much he escaped with.
He was described as Caucasian, five-feet-11-inches to six feet(180cm-183cm) tall with a thin build.
He was wearing a yellow hooded sweatshirt, which he draped across his face as a disguise. He also sported a blue Bud Light tuque, a light brown jacket, blue jeans and black shoes.
