The inquest into the death of a 42-year-old highway construction worker scheduled for September has been pushed back a day, the coroner’s office announced Friday.
Now beginning Sept. 18, the inquest will examine the events surrounding Danniel William Milton’s death.
He died in April 2016 when he was struck by a vehicle while working in a highway construction project in Renfrew County.
The inquest, mandatory under the Coroners Act, is expected to hear from nine witnesses and last four days.
Dr. Robert Reddoch will preside as the inquest coroner and Jeffery Richardson will be counsel to the coroner.
It will begin at 9 a.m. at the Renfrew Municipal Building, 127 Raglan St. South.
