那是住RR,你理解错了。人开RR都送了,你再打听打听
Summary 没看懂那是住RR,你理解错了。
https://www.quora.com/Which-brand-carries-more-prestige-for-the-owner-Bentley-or-Rolls-Royce-and-why
the typical RR owner might be characterized as follows:
- middle-aged to senior years (and therefore having the natural authority that comes with maturity)
- probably a multimillionaire, and possibly a billionaire, and either inherited wealth or from a high-status profession, such as a business tycoon or the CEO of an investment bank
- powerful, influential and well-connected with lots of other people of similar wealth and status
- above-average intelligence and possibly well-educated at a good university
- possibly also owns a jet, a jet-helicopter, a super-yacht, or maybe an island
- gets invited to speak at Davos conferences to the world's political and business elite (and therefore suspected by conspiracy theorists of being a member of the Illuminati, and secretly planning the New World Order...)
- refined tastes in culture (opera, ballet, etc.), cuisine, fine art, etc
- clothes are restrained and classic in styling, and from makers that only the super-rich know about; they probably have a walk-in wardrobe full of gorgeous silk ties, bespoke suites, formal evening wear and hand-made shoes (or, if female, just shoes - lots of them)
- probably don't have a garage full of supercars, or a Range Rover; supercars are too noisy, vulgar and ostentatious for their tastes, and if they want to go cross-country, they'll have a stable of horses for that
- their Rolls will probably be chauffeur-driven for much of the time, though they will enjoy taking the wheel themselves when they want to waft the spouse and kids silently and effortlessly across Europe to their chateau in the Dordoigne, their chalet in St Moritz or their villa on Lake Garda for the school holidays (assuming they don't want to use the private jet, of course)
In contrast, the typical Bentley owner (again, this is just the UK stereotype - and I apologize to any Bentley owners who feel this stereotype is a little insulting, but it is just a stereotype) might be characterized as follows:
- in their 20s-30s, or going through a mid-life crisis (especially if they have a Bentley Continental GT);
- possibly a millionaire, even a multimillionaire, but probably not a billionaire (unless they are the spoiled son of a Saudi royal)
- might have a garage full of supercars - e.g. a Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Aston Martin, Jaguar, Mercedes, BMW and one of every other car make they lusted after as a teenager and, quite probably, a Range Rover, too - not for off-roading, of course, but just for popping down to the shops or dropping the kids off at school
- probably won't own a jet, jet-helicopter, island or super-yacht, but might own (or part-own) a Cessna, a Squirrel helicopter, a beach-front property somewhere and a jet-ski.
- only influential, if at all, within a narrow field, such as investment banking (but as a trader, not a CEO), sport, music, TV or film
- not particularly well-connected with other high-status individuals in other fields or with the international elite (if they ever get invited to Davos, it won't be to speak, but just to give popular appeal and street-cred to the Rolls Royce-owning power-brokers they are photographed with)
- only average intelligence (or even below-average, if they can outsource most of their personal and professional management to personal assistants, agents, managers and the like), and often will not have a university degree (their profession probably won't need much in the way of academic smarts)
- tastes are likely to be a bit 'nouveau riche' and 'petit bourgeous'; they have no knowledge of, nor interest in, classical music, haute cuisine, antique furniture or fine art; their tastes are more likely to be pop music, Indian curries, modern interiors (with an emphasis on 'bling' touches such as crystal chandeliers and gold-plated bath taps) and reproduction Banksy murals (because of their edgy street-cred)
- clothes are from well-known, contemporary designer labels and favour look-at-me flashiness over classic, restrained styling; they probably have a walk-in wardrobe full of baseball caps, polo shirts, jeans and trainers (or, if female, just shoes - lots of them)
- if they own a second home, it will probably be in a gated enclave - most likely in the UK or on a coast or island somewhere Mediterranean - of modern, detached five-bedroom homes where they can rub shoulders with their fellow footballers, fashion models, pop stars, TV/film stars or Forex traders; they are not quite in the chateau/chalet/villa-owning jet-(owning-)set yet, and probably never will be
In summary, then:
- Roll Royce owner - alpha male/female
- Bentley owner - beta male/female (but alpha male/female wannabe, of course)
