Seriously? Crass, short-sighted and mean come to mind. I can't help wondering though: who else is "Open for Business" in Ford's Ontario? And what is the minimum table fee to play? Oh, and who collects the fee? Those rural Ontarians who saw electing Ford as a chance to stick it to Toronto would be wise to remember where in Ontario the bulk of the Provincial economy is based. And who pays for a big chunk of the - among others - agricultural subsidies farmers get.

I am absolutely convinced that foreign investors and companies will start pouring into Ontario when they see on commercial plates that Ontario is open for business. This what they have been waiting for. These investors and companies are scrutinising licence plate slogans around the world and taking their cue from what they read on the plates. That's sarcasm if you haven't guessed by now.

I am absolutely convinced that foreign investors and companies will start pouring into Ontario when they see on commercial plates that Ontario is open for business. This what they have been waiting for. These investors and companies are scrutinising licence plate slogans around the world and taking their cue from what they read on the plates. That's sarcasm if you haven't guessed by now.

I wholeheartedly agree with the Green Party Leader, Mike Schreiner. It IS "...completely inappropriate for one of the premier's campaign slogans to be on our licence plates." It's offensive and distasteful in the extreme.
