Information for renting (in Hull, near Quebec university)
My neighbour bought a house and will move in December. They want to sublet their 3-room apartment.
This apartment is actually two floors of a house: 3 rooms and laundry room are on the half-basement(carpet floor), living room and kitchen and bathroom are on the first floor(wooden floor).There are several closets in the apartment, and two storerooms outside. A nice yard and enough parking place. The apartment is near Quebec University, 10 minutes walking.Also 10-15 minutes walking to Maxi or MarketFresh supermarket.
The rent is $670, not including electricity and hot water. It is estimated that the electricity and hot water will cost $100-130(average for a year). You can move in between December 20 to Janauary 1. The sublet lease is about six months, after that, you should sign a new lease with the landloard (one year lease). The most important is you should pay the rent on time every month!
Two rooms are big enough for two people, another one is small. In my opinion, two couple(4 people),or a couple and a single, are suitable for renting this apartment because they can share the rent.(of course, 3 singles can also make good arrangement)
Note: Why do I provide this information here? I just want to do a favor to our Chinese. I know it is difficult for our Chinese immigrants to find a good apartment in Hull. I want to help if I can. I do not want to get any benefits!
