CIC CALL CENTER 的人的确是这么说的，之前做的背景调查过期了，可我怎么也想不明白，去年11月才做的， 一年没到，怎么会过期呢？也许你说的对，最好亲自去问问。

You got your first letter in June, 2002, right? Normally, it expires a year later since they start your security checking. It means around June/July this year, yours expired.

For people who recieved their first letter in the fourth quarter 2002, should go to the local office for status checking, if no further information yet from it telling you the test date and place. As your security checking will probably expire soon.

照你这么说，SECURITY CHECKING 的有效日期要从收到确认信开始算，而不是从 SECURITY CHECKING 的完成日期开始算。如果是这样，凡是在收到确认信一年后才考试的，都需要重新做 SECURITY CHECKING？？？

I think my case is similar to Morgan's. I wrote the test on June 5th, 2003. But the first notification letter was received in June, 2002. So I do not receive anything from CIC after I finish the written test. Have to wait...

原来有人跟我的情况差不多，那我就没那么担心了。请问你曾经打电话或者写信去查询过吗？也许GMO的建议对，我们应该亲自去CIC办公室问问。

今天听一个朋友说，考试后有些人被随机抽中重新做背景调查，我觉得这种说法好象有点道理。
