The City of Ottawa is facilitating access today until 6 pm to the restricted area of Bayview Drive in Constance Bay. Access to this area is limited to residents only to assist them with their home flooding mitigation efforts.
Shuttles can be accessed at the corner of Ritchie and Whistler Street. Residents can carry necessary supplies such as fuel, water and food. Passengers should be prepared to show identification to validate proof of address.
The City reminds residents the street has been closed for restricted access to ensure public health and safety. Please respect the barricades. Using this controlled access will allow emergency staff to know people’s whereabouts in the restricted area – in case of any emergency.
