Residents on roads closed due to flooding -– Bayview Drive, Armitage Avenue, Wilola Beach Drive and Moorhead Drive – should leave their regular household waste, recycling and green bin piled on top of the sandbags or the closest dry area at the end of their property by 9 am on Monday morning. A vehicle will be by to pick them up.
Residents requiring assistance moving their garbage to the curb can go to the Community Support Centre.
Large objects, construction debris, flood related debris, appliances, e-waste and hazardous waste should not be brought to the curb at this time. Once waters recede and there is no further chance of flooding, the City will have additional debris and waste pick up options for those affected by the flood event.
