it is not that hard (not as hard as your think) to transfer to U of T. don't be scared by its name. if you have a B+ (A- is better) CGPA, you can just apply for it via OUAC. for those universities with a big name, such as UT, it is not hard to get in, but it is VERY HARD to graduate WITH THE PROGRAM OF YOUR CHOICE. for a lot of students in UT, they got kicked out of their first choice program at the first or second year, and the faculty automatically put those students in some other program with space and less GPA requirement. so in this way, they can still collect your tuition, but you will have to study the program that you don't like.
if you really want to go there, just apply for it, i mean, you have nothing to lose rite? and for most of the universities, you have to have at least 2 years of study at the school you are transfering to.
