同意terry的观点. 没有一个政治家是十全十美的，也没有一个政治实体不是为一部分人谋利益的。问题是华人的声音和他们的经济实力，人数比起来太弱了。侨领们也不可能都象小马哥那样既又学问，又有修养，又不贪财。侨领也是人，也得挣钱养家糊口。如果谁认为自己比他们强的话，请站出来，我们投你一票。问题是不能总说风凉话和拆台。看了一个电视剧，有一句话很受启发：“Chang your attitude, it goes a long way"

Good point! For the the group of people we usually call 中国人, except for 都讲中国话, there is nothing similar, or maybe foods.

When it comes to politics, which we are discussing in this thread, different groups have different background, as a result, have opposite views of a lot of things.

Different groups of 中国人 attack each other more than others do to 中国人. Just look at what happened when Chen Shui Bian visited New York City couple weeks ago.

This is fundamental difference, no cure.
