2016年一位民主党大法官去世，奥巴马2月份提名新人选接任，现在参议院长Mitch McConnell提出大选年不能任命新法官，要留给新任总统任命。。。

今年又是大选年，但Mitch早前已经表示如果有空缺，他会推动新法官提名。

但目前还有40多天大选，时间够紧，参议院也不一定能通过。

拭目以待。。。

这次总统是他们共和党的人，看他如何处理。

据说阿拉斯加的参议员在RBG去世前接受采访时说，她不会同意在大选前提名新的大法官，但当时RBG还活着呢。。。不知道会不会变卦。
