President Donald Trump’s already long-shot efforts to reverse an apparent win for President-elect Joe Biden by challenging votes in courts suffered three big setbacks in Arizona, Michigan and Pennylvania on Friday.
In Arizona, Trump’s campaign dropped a legal challenge of a number of ballots in Maricopa County, saying Biden’s overall lead in the state is too large for the disputed ballots to make a difference.

The move came a day after NBC News and other media outlets projected that Biden will win the state’s popular vote.

In Michigan, where Biden last week was projected as the winner, a judge declined a request by Trump backers to block the certification of election results in Detroit.
And in Pennsylvania, Secretary of State Kathy Boockvar said she has determined not to order a recount and a recanvass of the election return in 67 counties. For a recount to be ordered, Trump would have to be losing by less than .5% of the votes cast.
But Biden’s lead over Trump was 49.8% to Trump’s 48.9% as of Friday afternoon in the Keystone State, which has 20 Electoral votes.
In the Michigan case, the judge rejected allegations by two poll challengers who claimed to have seen irregularities that allowed invalid ballots to be counted.

Timothy Kenny, chief judge of Wayne County Circuit Court, said those people “did not have a full understanding” of the vote counting process and their “interpretation of events is incorrect and not credible.”
In its filing in Maricopa County court, the Trump campaign, which has said that numerous voters had their ballots invalidated, said that “the tabulation of votes statewide has rendered unncessary a judicial ruling as to the presidential electors.”
Arizona has 11 votes in the Electoral College. NBC last week had projected that Biden will win Michigan, which has 16 electoral votes.
Biden was projected to win the presidential race as of last Saturday.
NBC News projects he now has 306 electoral votes, 36 more than he needs to clinch a White House win. And the former Democratic vice president is leading the popular vote count over Trump in Georgia, where the race has yet to be projected.

There are no irregularities in Arizona, everything’s happening in a bipartisan way: Sec. of State

Trump campaign spokesman Tim Murtaugh told CNBC, in response to the filing in Arizona, “All parties acknowledge that in-person voters, who were likely predominately Trump voters, were disenfranchised by having their votes kicked out by the machines in Maricopa County, so for Democrats to celebrate that fact is shameful.”
“We continue to explore President Trump’s options in Arizona,” Murtaugh said.
But Biden’s campaign said, “The Trump campaign’s lawsuit was frivolous and their motion to withdraw any claims of relief related to the presidential campaign confirms that this was nothing more than a waste of time.”
“President-Elect Joe Biden won Arizona, and now it’s time to unite the country and move forward,” his campaign said.
Trump has refused to concede the race, as his campaign conducts a series of legal challenges in a half-dozen battleground states in an effort to reverse Biden’s lead. The president has falsely claimed that he won the race.
The Arizona complaint, which was filed Saturday in Maricopa County Superior Court, alleged that numerous voters filing ballots in person on Election Day had been tricked into having their votes disqualified by the electronic tabulation machines.
The Trump campaign had originally argued if the disqualified ballots were added to the vote tally, it “will prove determinative of the outcome of the election for President of the United States in Arizona and/or other contested offices in Maricopa County.”
“Numerous voters were alerted by these devices to a facial irregularity in their ballot ... but were induced by poll workers to override the tabulator’s rejection of the ballot in the good faith belief that their vote would be duly registered and tabulated,” the complaint alleged.
“In actuality, overriding the electronic tabulator’s alert automatically disqualifies the putative ‘overvotes’ without additional review or adjudication.”
In its filing Friday, the campaign said the issue of the ballots affecting Trump’s electoral chances is moot because of the statewide lead for Biden. But it said that two down-ballot races, for the Board of Supervisors in Maricopa County, and for a state Senate seat, “remain at issue” in the case.

Dick Morris to Newsmax TV: Stats Prove Ballot Stuffing

By Brian Trusdell
Monday, 23 Nov 2020 8:32 PM

Former Democratic strategist and White House adviser Dick Morris told Newsmax TV on Monday that Democratic presidential voter turnout was disproportionately larger than the population gains from 2012 to 2020 in key cities where President Donald Trump is disputing election tallies.

Appearing on “Greg Kelly Reports,” Morris pointed out that the vote for Joe Biden in Phoenix was 48% more than Barack Obama received in 2012, when the city only witnessed a 14% gain in population. Similarly, he said, Atlanta saw a 30% larger vote for Biden than Obama in 2012, despite a 9% gain in population, and Detroit had a 10% higher vote total for Biden than Obama while seeing no increase in population at all.

“And the only way that that increase can be justified is by ballot stuffing,” Morris said. “The non-Democratic cities didn’t realize that kind of gain. And even cities like New York and Chicago, that were not in swing states, didn’t realize that kind of a gain. It was pure ballot stuffing with absentee and mail-in ballots.”

Morris admitted that Democratic antipathy toward Trump could account for the increased voter turnout overall, from 135 million in 2016 to 150 million earlier this month. But it doesn’t explain why the turnout was significantly higher in the states where claims of fraud, particularly in Arizona, Michigan and Georgia, are being made, but not across the board in other Democrat-controlled cities.

“Sure it did,” Morris said. “But in these particular cities and in these particular states, where Biden won by 80,000 in one state, or 20,000 in another, these kinds spikes in turnout are indicative of ballot stuffing. The secretary of state in Michigan sent out 7.7 million absentee ballots, and got huge numbers back, and that permitted them to stuff the ballot [box] with phony ballots. Two hundred thousand absentee ballots in Pennsylvania, alone, were counted.”

In August 2012 Morris claimed that Bill Clinton was going to vote for Mitt Romney, but that he would still speak in favor of Obama because "his wife is hostage."
克林顿会投票给Romney.

预测Romney将325:213 胜奥巴马,结果是206:332。

有人把他称为:the king of wrong mountain.

The quixotic quest by Donald Trump’s legal team to overturn the results of the election has birthed an unlikely star this week: Michigan resident Melissa Carone.

Carone, a contract worker for Dominion Voting Systems, appeared before a Michigan house panel on Wednesday and insisted, without providing evidence, that tens of thousands of votes had been counted twice.

It was the manner of her claims, however, that made her a social media hit, with numerous Twitter users comparing Carone to a Saturday Night Live character.

Carone repeatedly talked over a Michigan representative as he tried to get to the bottom of her allegations of voter fraud.

Those claims seemed to amount to vague accusations of ballot recounting and poll tampering, apparently by the Republican-controlled house.

Responding to Carone’s assertions that she saw ballot workers count a batch of 30,000 votes multiple times, Steve Johnson, a Republican Michigan state representative, said:

“We’re not seeing the poll book off by 30,000 votes.”

Carone, who repeatedly spoke over Johnson as he attempted to understand her claims, was unmoved.

“What’d you guys do, take it and do something crazy to it?” Carone said.

“I’m just saying the numbers are not off by 30,000 votes,” Johnson replied.

“I’d say that poll book is off by over 100,000 [votes],” Carone said.

In her appearance before the house, Carone earned the rare distinction of making claims that were too bizarre for Rudy Giuliani, who has become a fount of unhinged election conspiracy theories in recent weeks.

Giuliani, who sat next to Carone at the Michigan hearing, was heard shushing her as she loudly spoke over a state representative, and could be seen wincing during some of her account of witnessing fraud.

On 13 November a Wayne county judge had decided that Carone’s claims “simply are not credible”, but that did not stop Trump’s team from bringing her to Wednesday’s hearing, where Carone added of the vote total:

“It’s wildly off, and dead people voted, and illegals voted.”

Carone, who has been doing the rounds on rightwing media in recent weeks, claimed on Wednesday night she “had to get rid of social media” in the wake of her public appearances.

That statement also seems to be false, given a Facebook account in her name still exists on the site.
