He's currently in a cell at the Elgin Middlesex Detention Centre, charged with four counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted murder after what police are calling a hate-motivated, anti-Muslim crime.

For example, in 2017, six people were killed and 19 seriously injured when a gunman burst into the Islamic Cultural Centre of Quebec City.
The gunman was convicted of six counts of first-degree murder in the killings and was sentenced to life in prison. Terrorism charges were never used.

我是坚定的法律与秩序的支持者，但是这件事情我确实觉得官方的做法太草率了。
除非证明肇事者认识这一家因而可以确定他们是穆斯林，或者肇事者是弱智。处心积虑的要杀穆斯林的人，会在满大街都是蒙面人的条件下，随机的选择看起来更像印度人（身上没有任何明显的穆斯林标志）的人作为目标？
