上次渥太华投票好像是差一票，汉密尔顿通过了，可是省里也不允许延长室内口罩的强制要求，说学校教委不是医学专家机构，无权更改省健卫专家的决定。

第一次动议投票在March Break, mask mandate 取消是在March Break 之后, 当时的情况一片大好.
在民主国家mandate 是一件很严重的事儿, 肯定很多人不喜欢, 情况好的时候就放松一下, 愿意戴口罩的继续戴, 不愿意的戴的就自己当小白鼠
给大家探路子.
现在情况变了,再回到 mask mandate, 估计很容易通过.

儿子得了新冠,周六出的隔离期, 今天第一次去上学. 昨天晚上 和今天早上做了快检, 还有微弱阳性, 提醒他午饭快吃,不要说话,尽快戴回口罩, 小子痛快地同意了.

快检不解决所有问题, 但是帮助说服做正确决定, 例如我家的两个 teens.

一下就用掉2个, 过两天再拿一盒.

Getting infected with COVID-19 for a second time is becoming increasingly more common as people's immunity wanes, experts say.

Christine Enns said she was shocked when a rapid test showed she had tested positive for COVID-19.

Enns, who received two doses of COVID-19 vaccine and a booster shot, already had the virus in early February and thought reinfection was rare.

"Because Omicron is so different, previous infection doesn't protect you," Saskatchewan's chief medical health officer, Dr. Saqib Shahab, said last week.

This aligns with recent studies done in England that suggest 10 per cent of reported cases are reinfections.

Dozens of people in the UK have endured COVID as many as four times, according to the latest official data.

The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) says 62 people have had four positive tests, each of them at least 90 days apart, since the start of the pandemic.

Another 7,640 had been infected three times by 6 March 2022, when the data was collected.

In all, there have been 715,154 re-infections, according to the UKHSA's latest weekly flu and COVID surveillance report.

The figures are for England, suggesting the UK totals will be even higher.

'Many of us will get re-infected every few years'

Paul Hunter, Professor of Medicine at the University of East Anglia, said people who have been re-infected multiple times are likely to have had different variants of the virus.

英国虽然以前有过那么多死亡淘汰的和自然感染的，但现在重症数字又冲高了，英格兰医院压力很大，医护因病缺勤和长期过劳离职严重，另外长期积压的其他病患无法就诊。这样严重透支医疗资源压垮医疗系统的情况对所有人都不利，谁都不敢说自己和家人肯定不需要看任何病。

忘了从哪里读到的，说奥米中招后保护期是两个月三个月，但也因人而异，有人长些有人短些。

看来以后的趋势就是：
１、如果小心防护，每年中招一两次？？？
２、如果比较放飞，每年中招三五次？？？
所以即使全民过筛，小心和不小心还是会有区别的。

是啊，在这种情况下，怎么可能怪辉瑞，莫德纳等公司的疫苗不能如当初三期试验时给出的95%的防感染率，那是针对原始毒株的试验，现在各种变种，自然感染后的抗体都顶不住。

我知道一位长岛的医生，她的年轻同事就感染了四次，她说几乎每个变种都感染了一次。他总是认为感染过了，没事了。去年圣诞节期间美国omicron来袭，单位的聚会取消了，他又和几人开了个新年party。回来上班后，感觉不好，同事们说，你还是回家休息吧，一测试，又阳性了。
