Xi had a meeting with two leaders of the three countries' NAFTA except for Trudeau. Xi even met current leaders of hostile countries like Japan and the Philippines.

Look at what Trudeau said when Mr. Trudeau and Mr. Xi ran into each other briefly at the APEC leaders’ summit on Thursday. (it will be interesting to see the video clip if any)

Trudeau, “I talked about how we need to keep our officials and teams working together to try and create constructive dialogue around issues that matter to us individually but also matter to the world,”

Asked what Mr. Xi said to him, Mr. Trudeau replied by saying, “He acknowledged what I said.”

What? Trudeau now wants a 'constructive dialogue'? I remember Trudeau told Xi last time " In Canada, we believe in a free and open and frank dialogue" when Xi rebuked Trudeau for disclosing their dialogue to the media.

Of course, dictator Leader Xi couldn't meet Trudeau in an open-door dialogue with the media as Trudeau required.

So Trudeau must think he won, and Xi lost. We Canadians should feel good about it, shouldn't we?
