前面有人说，魁省自毁长城的举措不只学费这一事。
说一个简单的故事吧，魁省的很多公务人员警察都在做自毁形象的事情。几周前跟美国佬开会，有人抱怨在蒙城机场受到不公正待遇，我随口想安慰他一下，那边执法就是比较严谨，于是讲了自己，做为一个加拿大人，也在蒙城机场行李箱被翻了底朝天。结果那哥们失态了，what’s wrong with fr***h people? Blabla 一大堆，他爸是英国人，母亲是荷兰人，在安省BC省都玩得很开心，唯独在魁省受到刁难，他们都对魁省没有好感什么的。弄得一会场的人都很尴尬，幸好没有法裔同事在场。

去年雪季的一个滑雪场，好像也发生过Gatineau 警察给安省大批车辆罚单，理由是贴着过期stickers. 但安省早已取消stickers 了，这些车辆绝大多数都已经网上续期了，没有失效的问题。

By the way, you can remove old stickers from your plate if you like, but you don't have to. If you'd prefer to renew your licence plate in person, you'll need to visit a Service Ontario location.
