- There are over 200,000 claims and 70% of these cases have been 1 year old;
- The claim intake is still growing and the waiting period to be processed for now will be 44 months;
- While waiting to be processed, the refugee claimer will have a Work Permit, Healthcare;
- The cost for a refugee is about $82,000/ per year per person.
