Starting at 7:00am on Friday, May 9, MacLaren Street and Percy Street will be closed at the intersection.
This closure will be in effect until Saturday, May 10 at 6:00pm as part of the MacLaren Street and Lyon Street Integrated renewal project. This project includes replacing the combined sewer and watermains as well as new roads and sidewalks.
Detours and signage will be in place. Please plan ahead and allow for extra travel time.
Percy Street will be converted to two-way traffic north and south of MacLaren Street, with local access maintained.
MacLaren Street will be converted to two-way traffic east and west of Percy Street, between Bronson Avenue and Bay Street, with local access maintained.
Lane reductions may be required but access to private properties will be maintained throughout the construction period. On-street parking will be restricted.
Pedestrians will be able to use the opposite sidewalk during this closure. A signed cyclist detour will be provided around the work zone.
