Ottawa Bluesfest takes over LeBreton Flats this weekend, with concerts from Thursday, July 10 to Sunday, July 13 and Wednesday, July 16 to Sunday, July 20. Residents and visitors travelling in the area can expect increased traffic and pedestrian activity throughout the festivities.
Travel on OC Transpo is free for event ticketholders. Customers can travel on all O-Train lines, buses or Para Transpo up to three hours before and two hours after the event on the date their Bluesfest pass is valid. Simply show your wristband or pass to the bus or Para Transpo operator or use the video-chat function on ticket machines at O-Train stations to request access through the fare gate.
For nearby service to and from the event area, customers can use Pimisi, Bayview, and Lyon stations. O-Train Line 1 will operate more frequently in the evenings when event attendees are returning home, and special westbound bus service will operate from Albert Street at Booth Street. O-Train service on Lines 1 and 2 will be extended to midnight on Sunday, July 13 and Sunday, July 20.
Para Transpo customers will be picked up and dropped off on Booth Street, north of Vimy Place, next to the War Museum.
Some OC Transpo bus routes will be detoured due to road closures related to the event. Check octranspo.com/alerts for the latest detour information.

- Kichi Zībī Mīkan between Parkdale Avenue and Booth Street
- Reduced by a single lane in each direction on Monday, July 7 at 6 am.
- Kichi Zībī Mīkan eastbound between Slidell Street and Portage
- Thursday, July 10 at 10 am to July 14 at 6 am
- Wednesday, July 16 at 10 am to Thursday, July 17 at 6 am
- Thursday, July 17 at 10 am to Monday, July 21
- Kichi Zībī Mīkan between Slidell Street and Portage
- Thursday, July 10 at 5 pm to Monday, July 14 at 6 am
- Monday July 14 at 6 am to Wednesday, July 16 at 10 am, reduced to one lane in each direction
- Wednesday, July 16 at 5 pm to Thursday, July 17 at 6 am
- Thursday, July 17 at 5 pm to Sunday, July 20
- Monday, July 21, reduced to one lane in each direction
