[问题] 买笔记本电脑, 应不应该该买 warranty

I have just bought a Compaq Laptop from future shop. But the three-year warranty seems pretty expensive ($399). Is this worth or not? Just wondering if anybody has any experience on this? Thanks.

买吧，我买了，
我觉得还是值的，
用起来可以大胆的用，坏了修很贵的，
特别是LCD,坏了换就得8000RMB,

除非特殊情况，笔记本电脑哪能那么容易坏，如果不是很宽裕，就省省吧。

Never buy any warranty for anything.

Never buy any warranty for anything.

I had bad experience with Future Shop Extented warranty. Lots of limitions applies when you claim for it. Personally I think it's not worth.

个人建议不买，笔记本本身就有至少１年（有些大厂提供３年）的厂家保修，无需额外购买。
Ｆｕｔｕｒｅｓｈｏｐ的保修服务大多数情况下只是比送厂家稍快一点罢了。

厂家保修一般一年，用信用卡买又增加一年，所以买三年的warranty有2年是重复的，实际上也就一年而已。

mine only got 3-month warranty, maybe due to it's refurbished.

什么信用卡可以增加一年啊？？

大多数信用卡多可以double warranty.

我觉得我的IBM Thinkpad很不错，就是价格太高了，害我勒紧裤带了。$1200啊
