Everyone beware,
This happened to my friend today outside T&T Kanata supermarket, a van blocked his car and offered jewellery, he said no and got in the car, the woman knocked on the window, he lowered the window and she pulled his arm out and twisted hard that he cannot defend. She stripped his watch off, as he saw she has something in her other hand, he raised his right hand and got stabbed in the hand. They fled off and a T&T staff saw and tried to chase but he could not get their license. He went into T&T to get treatment and called police whom arrived over an hour later, they filed a report and later showed up at his home to collect more information. Below is his original message:
This morning, I was grocery shopping at TNT Kanata, I was approached by a middle Eastern couple, claiming she has gold bars, gold watches , and money free for me. I ignored them and proceeded to my car. After I got in， this woman reached in, grabbed my left arm, almost broke my arm and forced my watch off my hand. I was afraid she might have weapon so I shielded my face with my right hand, then I was stabbed on my right hand. They got my watch and took off. So beware of people offering you free stuff, especially middle Eastern people. I hot got home now after filing all the police reports etc. Tell everyone you know. Beware.
