If you ask me who’s going to win the generative AI race in the next 5-10 years — China is going to win. Period.”

英文:“They have one million people working on this 24/7. One million. Not 100,000 — one million. You know how many we have in the entire Silicon Valley working full-time on foundation models? Maybe 20,000 on a good day.”

And they’re not going to quit. They’re not going to quit. The more you sanction them, the harder they work. You can’t stop them. The more you stop them, the more determined they get.”

These export controls? They’re the dumbest thing we’ve ever done. You just gave them the best national mobilization mission in 50 years. It’s like Sputnik moment on steroids.”

Their Ascend 910C is already within 8-12% of H100 performance in most workloads — and they make 200,000 of them per month now. Two hundred thousand. Per month. While we’re sitting here arguing about CFIUS.”

Washington thinks they’re stopping China. They’re not stopping China — they’re accelerating China. By 2027, China will have more AI compute than the rest of the world combined. Mark my words.”

So yeah, keep the sanctions if you want. Just understand: you’re handing them the trophy.”

當晚就有3位與會者將內容洩露給FT(金融時報)記者;

11月6日凌晨FT搶先爆料,隨後彭博、路透逐句求證,內容全部一致;

輝達公關團隊至今僅回覆“No comment”(無可奉告);

黃仁勳本人已取消原定11月6日的所有媒體採訪;

(IT前哨站)

China will win - Jensen Huang's confidential speech leaked

Jensen Huang has caused a stir, the latest internal confidential speech has been leaked, every sentence is explosive.

The incident occurred on the evening of November 5th, when Huang held a closed-door meeting in a top private room at the Grand Hyatt Taipei. There were only 12 invited guests, all heavyweight figures—executives from TSMC, Quanta, Wistron, and Hon Hai, as well as partners from two American venture capital firms.

Because it was a closed-door meeting, the rules were very strict: no recording, no photography, and no notes were allowed. As a result, guess what happened? Just after the meeting ended, three participants leaked the content verbatim to a Financial Times reporter, completely selling out Huang.

The next morning, the Financial Times broke the story first. Subsequently, Reuters and Bloomberg verified it with all 12 attendees present that day, and everyone confirmed the authenticity of the report. The content was identical, word for word. Now, let me restore for everyone what explosive content Old Huang actually said in this top-secret meeting:

图片

1. Directly making judgments at the beginning

"If someone asks me who will win the generative AI race in the next 5-10 years?"

"The answer is simple: China will win."

· Original quote in English: "If you ask me who’s going to win the generative AI race in the next 5-10 years — China is going to win. Period."

2. Scale and number crush

"China now has 1 million people working on AI 24/7. Note, it’s 1 million, not 100,000. And in the entire Silicon Valley, there are at most 20,000 people working full-time on large models."

· Original quote in English: "They have one million people working on this 24/7. One million. Not 100,000 — one million. You know how many we have in the entire Silicon Valley working full-time on foundation models? Maybe 20,000 on a good day."

3. Determination and fighting spirit

"The Chinese will never give up. The more you sanction them, the harder they fight; you simply can't stop them."

· Original quote in English: "And they’re not going to quit. They’re not going to quit. The more you sanction them, the harder they work. You can’t stop them. The more you stop them, the more determined they get."

4. U.S. sanctions on China: foolish

"The U.S. export controls on China are the dumbest thing they’ve ever done. It’s like giving China the best national mobilization mission in 50 years."

· Original quote in English: "These export controls? They’re the dumbest thing we’ve ever done. You just gave them the best national mobilization mission in 50 years. It’s like a Sputnik moment on steroids."

5. Evaluation of Huawei

"Don’t underestimate Huawei. Their Ascend 910C is only 8%-12% slower than NVIDIA's H100 under most loads, and they can now produce 200,000 units per month. And here we are arguing about CFIUS."

· Original quote in English: "Don’t underestimate Huawei. Their Ascend 910C is already within 8-12% of H100 performance in most workloads — and they make 200,000 of them per month now. Two hundred thousand. Per month. While we’re sitting here arguing about CFIUS."

6. Attacking the U.S. government

"Washington thinks they’re stopping China, but in reality, they are accelerating China’s development. By 2027, China will have more AI computing power than the rest of the world combined."

· Original quote in English: "Washington thinks they’re stopping China. They’re not stopping China — they’re accelerating China. By 2027, China will have more AI compute than the rest of the world combined. Mark my words."

7. The conclusion is sharp and to the point

In the end, he threw down a harsh remark: "You can continue to impose sanctions, but understand that you are handing them the trophy."

· Original quote in English: "So yeah, keep the sanctions if you want. Just understand: you’re handing them the trophy."

It was clearly stated that these comments were classified internally, yet that night, three attendees leaked the content to reporters, directly selling out Old Huang. Thus, on the morning of November 6, the FT broke the story, followed by Bloomberg and Reuters verifying it line by line, all consistent.

To this day, NVIDIA's PR team has only replied with "No comment", and Jensen Huang urgently canceled all media interviews scheduled for today (November 6). This adds another layer of authenticity to the matter.

After all, if it were fake public relations, it would have been clarified and legal rights retained long ago.

However, there is another possibility, which is that Old Huang, as a businessman, staged a self-directed drama in response to the U.S. export restrictions, seeking more public opinion and pressure, not offending Trump himself while expressing his position, and indirectly providing his company with more opportunities and trump cards.

So what do you all think, did Old Huang really get sold out this time or is it a self-sacrificial tactic?
