second hard disk problem

My computer OS is NT4 NTFS partition and I want install Linux-mandrake on the second hard disk.
Does anybody has the experience for install the second hard disk in the PC? Thanks.

use hdb instead of hda during partition. If you do not how to do, just take the NT one out and practice. You learn nothing if there is no problem.

typing chinese is not easy for me as I nearly never type in chinese here. do you know hda, and hdb? If not, it is better to read some linux documents before doing installation.
