As far as I can see, Chinese people like to stay within the chinese group. There is definitely a lack of presence in terms of chinses population participating in school events. SFUO has a lot of interesting activity (Campus Idol, Great Winter Games, Ice Bar) that I am sorry to say that I haven't really been participating in. I mean, I haven't even gone to vote more than once! Therefore, before we can ask what has SFUO done for Chinese students, we have to ask what has Chinese students done to get involved in school life.
It's fine if you don't like to participate in their activity, and its also okay if you wanna stay within your small culture group and complain about the lack of things they've done for us. The fact is, you do vote, MOST LIKELY nothing will change. But then, there's is that slight slight possibility that something will change. And more plain is that fact that if you don't vote, then FOR SURE NOTHING will change. It's as simple as you gotta buy a ticket to win the lottery.
