Greetings all!

Don't miss out on this opportunity to attend a special
session by Microsoft Canada's Anthony Vranic tomorrow, Friday
March 5, 2004 at 11:00 am - 12:00 pm, in Room 101, Azrieli
Theatre.

This session will provide a complete overview of the C#
programming language. Anthony will begin with a brief
introduction to the .NET Framework and the Common Language
Runtime, and then move into the fundamentals of the C#
language, starting with its type system. He will also cover
some of the more innovative features of the language,
including boxing, properties, attributes, delegates, events,
and versioning. Comparisons to other programming languages
(mostly C++ and Java) will be made throughout the session.
Anthony will conclude by reviewing the standards progress and
taking a look at the future of C#, including support for
generics, iterators, and partial types. This session is open
to all students and faculty. See you there!
