This concludes the roundup of the monitors selected for this review. The winner can be easily picked out due to the score which have been given to each monitor; however, the one which best suites your needs may not be the one which I have chosen. Care should be taken when selecting a monitor; you must first decide on the intentions of the monitor, be it for work or for play. The decision is ultimately yours to make and you should always see the monitor first hand before making a purchase as many vendors will not take returns without an accompanying stocking fee.
The winner for the 17” models is the Samsung 700NF as I believe that it obtained the best overall score in all fields, mostly 1st and 2nd. The colours very visually stimulating in the stills pictures arena and the Displaymate scores reflect its brilliance. Samsungs claim that it’s monitor is the most advanced in the world appears to be supported well. The 2nd runner up is the NEC FE750, followed by the Viewsonic PF775 and finally the LG 795FT Plus. The Viewsonic received some good scores, however, I believe that the NEC edged it out due to some key components, namely the focus and resolution. The reason why the LG received the lowest score is because the others in the roundup in most of the categories indeed out performed it and even though the LG had many user control features, most of them did not fix the related problems well such as the moiré controls.
In the end.. when taking a look at all of the pros & cons, I felt that of the 19” models, the NEC FE950+ & the Samsung 900NF both deserve their place on the podium. The 2nd runner up is the Viewsonic PF790 and finally the LG 915FT Plus. The NEC FE950+ got top marks for its colours, but had the lowest score in regulation tests used in DisplayMate. The Samsung 900NF was excellent through subjective tests, but the intense obstacle course of Displaymate showed the flaws of the monitor. The Viewsonic PF790 is an excellent all round monitor, however, like its brother the PF775 it fell out in some key areas. The LG once again received the lowest score in the tests, but is would be an excellent replacement to any ageing monitor.

呵呵，LG都是垃圾了，你太强了，而且竟然拿三星跟他比。
795FT Plus是LG17里面的旗舰，这个795FT只是少了个USB Hub，用的是未来窗的显象管，不要把他跟T系列相比。没弄明白就乱说。
