<HTML>I bought mine AD-1500 model on boxing day at Wal-Mart for $119.97+tax which was a sale and all the DVD palyers were sold out very soon. I was told AD-800 is a better machine than AD-1500 but with the price I paid, I think I'll just keep my cheap DVD player. My wife only use it to watch VCD movies from China. This DVD player can be flashed to a non regional one, ie, it can play all regional DVD after the change. Check out: http://www.nerd-out.com/forum/
there are all kind of discussion on how to make it work.I'm happy with my DVD player so i'll just stay cool and not doing anything on it.
