Smart. His IQ is probably the highest among Communist leaders. For someone of his age and background, his understanding of modern economics is amazing. Don't understand why he behaved as he behaved in 1989. Maybe he is too ahead of his time ?
Deng Xiaoping:
Sharp, open minded and generally fair. Can be nice and tough in a split second. Won't be bothered with taking thousands of lives if he belived it's necessary. Very very rarely do you find those qualities in one single body.
China is lucky that Mao didn't kill him before he died.
Zhu Rongji:
The more I know him, the less I like him. He pretends to understand modern world, which he really didn't. China would be better off without his 5 years.
Jiang Zemin:
An insecure man deep inside. Never really get over his Inferior Complex.
History won't have too much paragraphs for him.
