[问题] 关于公民入籍宣誓

今天终于收到了宣誓通知信，但是信中提到：This notice is valid only if the citizenship judge approves your application. The judge may ask to meet with you in order to make a decision about your applcation. Therefore, if you receive a "NOTICE TO APPEAR - Hearing with a Citizenship Judge", this appointment is cancelled.

请问大家这是正常的程序吗？谢谢！

正常，每张通知都有此条款。这表示在宣誓前，万一法官改变主意而不批准你的申请，则此通知作废。

It could be your background checking taking longer than expected, like your name similar with some troublemakers', worked in some sensitive place in China, etc.

我比你等的时间还长，恐怕都创记录了。

MAY 18，2002 - 递申请
JUN 5， 2003 - 考试
NOV 18， 2003 - 打指纹
JUN 7， 2004 - 宣誓

整个过程长达24个月。跟CIC没办法着急，耐心一点吧。

我知道申请移民期间是不能结婚的

申请移民期间也可以，只是要通知人家，补手续，麻烦一点。

是不是渥太华这边麻烦点，多伦多很快的，8个月，没要打指纹。
