华人极不满省府预算案 变相加税日子百上加斤

省府的新预算案刚刚出炉，有市民认为自由党并没有履行当初的竞选承诺，特别是要支付医疗保险金，根本是变相加税，令升斗市民的生活更百上加斤；同时，一些原有的医疗服务如验眼、物理治疗等，只有耆老及20岁以下的人士可以免费使用，其他人不再享有这项福利。

林先生说，这个预算案令他感到最不满的是，自由党并没有履行当初竞选所说的，承诺不会向省民加税。但结果是，政府要根据省民的收入征收医疗保险金，可以说是变相加税，这样做对中产阶级的人士影响最大，加重他们的生活负担。

安省的医疗制度原本甚为完善，但今次在征收医疗保险金又同时削减部分医疗福利，林先生认为并不公平。特别是有关验眼、物理治疗方面的服务，耆老及20岁以下的人士才可以继续享有，但支付医疗保险金的省民，反而要自付费用。而且，对于如他经常运动的人士，这些医疗福利极为重要，如今要自掏腰包才可以使用。

当获悉这份预算案的内容时，主妇蔡太气愤地表示，这是省府对小市民开刀征税，令中下阶层的生活担子更为沉重。她说，政府希望低收入人士脱离贫穷线，但年薪超过2万以上的人士便要支付医疗保险金，其实是不鼓励市民赚取多一些钱以改善生活，因为多赚一些薪水，可能到达高一级的薪酬水平，要支付多一点的医疗保险金。

任职财务会计的卢太称，省府增加烟酒税收是无可厚非的，这些属于个人嗜好的事情，应该向用家征收多一些税款。但现时市民所缴纳的税款已经很高，政府加开医疗保险金，根本是增加多一项税收，升斗市民的生活将会是百上加斤。

对于年薪2万至3万6千元的人士只属中下收入，不算富有，每年要多付3百元的医疗保险金，确实是甚为辛苦。她认为，既然政府要收取这些保险金，应该把缴付的范围设于年薪4万元或以上。其实，政府能够减省开支，适当地使用税款，比增加征税项目更为重要。

first, thinking about the service of the hospital and horrible waiting list for surgery, it is time to take measure unless you dont need the health service.

second, where can the government get money to improve the service, the only way is from taxer pay.
no matter you like it or not.

third, if this new measure is really working, it will be very foruntate to those who need service and have a long impact to build good living standart of ontario residents.

last, puting your foot in other's shoe, what would you do if you are the PM, keeping a conservative budget and low quality service, or find a longterm solution of the problem?

no one like to take money from his pocket, but if you have to do that, do it in a better way and for a good purpose. but one thing i am wondering that the efficiency of the ontaio health service,
it seems the investment is not the only way to solve the problem.

Do you think the poor medical condition will be better if we pay more tax? It looks too naive! They will take the money and do nothing more. The real key issue is no competition and low efficiency.

看不看病都要至少付300元,我觉得不合理. 现在是有工作的人在花钱养老人和那些不干活又整天吃救济的人.
养老人还是可以,毕竟他们也曾经为这个社会做出贡献,而且我们也会变老. 但是,看看那些家里养了4,5个小孩
的"难民家庭",整天不干活靠政府救济,却吃得好,住得好,动不动去看病,这个实在是政府的政策失败. 我住得
大楼前面是一片TOWNHOUSE,很多难民家庭,大多有4个孩子,听说他们一个月只付300元房租. 我一个月600多,
却只住BACHELOR,还要每天8小时的工作,凭什么???
我可以接受的是自己先出300,超过的政府付.

1) They have collected tax for healthcare. 40%-60%(don't remember exactly) tax goes to healthcare.

2)It's not lack of money. It's lack of will to improve it. It's mismanagement.

3)Example: Gun registry was supposed to spend 2 million. But it went up to close to 1 billion. And it's far from complete. Guess how many millionares were born from this project?

4)Current government would like everyone know the new healthcare premium is the only source of healthcare fund and forget the tax people have paid.
