for someone who believes only liberals will in favor of immigration, i have to tell you, from my observation, it is not true.
Immigration has been deeply rooted in Canada long term policies. It is the general consensus that immigration will be good to Canada. Hence, no one in the election race has put forward any argument because it is very said already.
If you have a negative impression of Conservative's immigration policy, let me just tell you that it is only because they want to say different things by comparsion of liberals. If they are in power, they will adopte similar immigration policy as now.
having said this, it is not true that liberals always have good immigration policies at all. Their forever changing polices, the selection of refugee judge, and their overseas missions' performance are far more to be desired. Hence, to be bindly support liberals just purely depends on their seemingly more positive image from immigration is not very wise from my point of view
To be honest, i have still doubt with Conservatives. But i do believe they are more like business men. That may explain their way of treating immigration policies. For me, I am more incline to vote a party which is good in economy. In addition, the party has show they can keep their promise and has strong integrity. These are far important.
Do not worry, no one can close the door of immigration. this is the unarguable fact. But, If the overall economy is not getting better, what is the purpose of coming to Canada for?
