Demonizing Harper won't get us anywhere, let's focus on the issues. Right now, 2 issues have bothered me from the Conservative Party:

1. Their stand on abortion;
2. Their stand on bilingualism.

I don't feel bothered by these two issues. I don't think they will rip people's right for abortion, at most apply for some restriction. As for the bilingualism, I feel we should get rid of this official bilingualism which is just waste of money and causeing debate forever. I am borthered by their stand on the war to Iraq though. But anyway,no one and no party is prefect and I would give them a chance anyway.

I feel for both cases, people should have the right for abortion. However, there should be some moral guidline to educate people that life is life, shouldn't be too careless. That will teach people for safe sex as you know even though abortion should be a right for people, it's not good women's health, not to say killing the baby is not a good thing.

I've had numerous discussions on abortion with many people, the fundamental question on this issue seems to be centered on this:

How do you define a human being? In other words, when does life begin? At conception or at birth?

While I do not approve of careless abortion, I do however think that a woman has the right to her own body.

I've had numerous discussions on abortion with many people, the fundamental question on this issue seems to be centered on this:

How do you define a human being? In other words, when does life begin? At conception or at birth?

While I do not approve of careless abortion, I do however think that a woman has the right to her own body.

Which one do you trust? Conservative seems better. Otherwise, we don't need election since only liberal is eligible.

What do you mean by "has the right to her own body"? If she carries a baby and the baby is almost due, can she do whatever she wants? the answer is no because she carries another person. She has no right to do things that harm the person she is carring. Right? unless you think a 5-month old baby in her mother's body is not a human.

I do believe those persons who use these 3 issues to attack Stephen Harper are the real evil men. Think about gays, do they make you feel sick?
