BTW, 刚从实验农场回来. 拍了一堆玫瑰. 离开时发现收了一张罚单, 罪名是improper parking angle. 你和GANGW要是知道没告诉我那就是不够意思, 你们要是不知道呢下次得小心, 那里路边停车要parallel parking.

谁让你停那儿啦？那儿是15分钟停车。难道你不知道长时间停车要去里面农业博物馆入口处那边停吗？停车场巨大，不收钱，不限时，警察也不会进去检查。同情

BTW, let me tell a tip about taking flower picture. Composition,lightening,colour,tone,texture ... are the keys for still-life like flowers pictures, so this evening was not good time for you to take the flowers (like roses) pics, the best time should be ........

BTW, let me tell a tip about taking flower picture. Composition,lightening,colour,tone,texture ... are the keys for still-life like flowers pictures, so this evening was not good time for you to take the flowers (like roses) pics, the best time should be ........

GangW: like you said, it appears that I'm the only one who don't know about the proper parking place.

Thanks a lot for the tips about shooting flowers. Composition is what I really need to improve. I'm not sure that I agree with you about the lighting though. In my view, today should be the perfect lighting for macro flowers, since there is no strong sun light which creat sharp shadows. You will propably lose some details/texture under such lighting. This is what I learned from John Shaw's book and in fact I purposely pick a cloudy day.

I may go back another time at good whether as you suggested and see the difference myself.

the lightening should be about 30-50 degree and I prefer in the morning since the sky is clearer. Can you get up so early ?

it seems that the lightening is a little bit hard in the first one and a little bit soft in the second one. I prefer to use back 45, 45 degree lightening.

the colour in the first one looks not saturation, let me try to add a red filter on it.

See it, better or not?
