应该发Thanks Letter 吗？

I received an email from the company after applying for a position. They stated they are reviewing my resume, and will contact with me if my qualification match the requirement. It is not automatic email. It is person to person. So,

Should I send thanks letter to company? I always confuse with it.

do not send a thanks letter, instead, should say to the manager.

You should say
1) thanks for your reply
2) if any question, lets setup a mutually conversation to discuss
3) Again, update your contact information

I would do that!
