Hmmm.... The address thing may be the catch here. I did always prefix my company name even it is my home address unintentionally. And that may explain it.
Okay, to make up what I confused you, I called Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) 1-800-461-9999 & CCRA refund center 416 973 1811 for you. Bad news and good news
Bad: They confirmed that you have to pay 15% on receiving it. http://www.cbsa.gc.ca/import/courier/postal/ind_dutiable-e.html
Good: Since you are bringing the PC out of country almost immediately you CAN be considerred a full refund of that 15%.
(1) You will pay 15% on receiving it
(2) Fill out the duty form that comes with the package (on the back) to tell them you are taking it out of the country and you want a refund on the ground of "immediate export"
(3) When you leave Canada, at the custom, ask to stamp an exportation form (with the PC's serial number) to prove you are bring the PC out of the contry. (you have to ask for this form in the air port. Ottawa or Vancouver, I dont know)
(4) Mail all above to following to get your refund
Canada Customs and Revenue Agency
Custome Refund Centre
200 Town Centre Court, 4th Floor
Scarborough, Ontario
M1P 4Y3
You can call the refund center yourself to confirm all above 416 973 1811. Tell them your situation and ask for "immediate export refund"
Okay, good luck and keep us all posted!!
