From non Chinese's view, they would see the case more as Chinese being cold blood and making trouble instead of being victim. Not a single Chinese would be a winner if Chen Min was proved guilty. You can not set apart of you in front of the Police Chief to declare that you are non Chinese. That is why we need to find out whether the real killer could be a non Chinese.

So instead of trying to find a non-Chinese suspect, maybe we should think about why we have eduacated some cold blooded murderer, not try to accuse police charing the wrong person.

If this guy is really the criminal, then he should be punished and we all Chinese should check our own behavior. Police charge this guy as they have evidence, you feel bad just show that you are weak. You are afraid that Chinses will be seen as cold blooded, and unfortunately some of us are cold blooded (from many posting recently). So instead of trying to find a non-Chinese suspect, maybe we should think about why we have eduacated some cold blooded murderer, not try to accuse police charing the wrong person.

I really cannot understand your point here. Do you mean that all Chinese will be discriminated because the murderer is a Chinese in this case? A person can never represent a race. If a person, no matter what race he is from, told you so, he must be undereducated, at least from my point of view. Please don't be too sensitive.

Please read the 4th point of the original post. This is from a white people's view of this case. Though he did it for the good sake of Chinese community, the message he passed to us is clear enough.

Agree with you on certain degree first. However, if people has more trust on the police, then people should has the same trust on the justice system. A more fair trial can only bring all the real criminals into justice, but not let a single one escape. This is the most important point! No time for further debate. Lets see how the case goes on.

司法上是这样的，警察的工作程序似乎不是这样：排除法，假设张家及周围的人都有嫌疑，然后再排除。

在加拿大的中国人应马上建立一个基金会，为目前无罪的陈敏捐款请好的律师。此案已严重影响了本地加拿大人对中国移民或学生的看法，警察和媒体的偏激与相当一部分人认为中国人带来了邪恶不无关系。如果最终陈敏被不明不白的定罪，而广大在加拿大的中国人又无所作为，以后对中国人的歧视只会越来越深。目前中国人在加拿大社会中的弱者地位就跟陈敏在本案中的弱者地位差不多，帮助陈敏就是帮助你自己。中国政府也应该采取必要的行动去保护持中国护照的陈敏的最大利益，无论他有没有犯罪。

第四点最关键。如果一个司法制度不公正了，那么必然有受害群体。从目前的形势看，华裔移民和留学生是这样的群体。

你可以不为陈敏鸣怨叫屈，不过你不能不为这个司法制度保持公正而呼喊。否则，明天遭受不公正待遇的就是你。

那些社团现在又到哪里去了？什么oucsa,cucsa，还有各种华人机构。我希望有个社团能出面组织，愿意帮助协助司法公正的留学生，移民朋友大家捐个20块什么的，不管有多少我想还是会帮到当事人的。一般情况下，如果他是有罪的，再好的大状也帮不到他。但如果他是无辜的，能最后洗刷罪名的话，对当事人和整个华人社会都是有好处的。纵使已经有一出悲剧已发生，但还是应该尽人事不要让第二出上演。

Please read the 4th point of the original post. This is from a white people's view of this case. Though he did it for the good sake of Chinese community, the message he passed to us is clear enough.

If that white guy discriminates me because of this case, that's his personal choice. I don't care. If he hurts me due to the discrimination, I will seek for justice.

If you think that police officer acted improperly, you can sue him and I will support you for a real justice. But donation for a suspect, just because of his race, is a totally different story.

By the way, an opinion from a white person does not mean anything more than that from others.
