Vaseline / Petroleum Jelly Stain Removal from Clothing
To remove a Vaseline or petroleum jelly stain from clothing, first scrape off any excess Vaseline with a dull knife. You should then be able to remove the Vaseline from your clothing by saturating the stain with laundry detergent, then laundering as usual in the warmest water acceptable for the fabric. Do not machine dry your garment until you are sure the stain is gone. If any residue remains after your garment has dried, you can treat the area with dry cleaning fluid, then launder as usual.
